A new huddle has been using an FCA 'in my own voice.' Students are writing down and sharing their testimonies, practicing being equipped and empowered to share. The students have been asking their coaches to share in the same way! They are getting positive responses and several coaches have shared their testimonies.
“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you” (Luke 8:39).
A local high school/middle school Huddle made care packages for surrounding churches to give to families in need. Students has a lot of fun making the packages and even more joy when they got pictures from the families and to see the smile on the kids faces. They're serving the Lord with acts of love!
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me’” (Matthew 25:40).
At an area high school, 30+ students gathered for a bible study, completely student led. The three student leaders did an awesome job of taking their peers through John 15:1-8. Our FCA staff member was extremely impressed by the depth they went into with the verses, the illustrations that they used, and the questions they asked. The student participation and quality of questions and answers was well beyond the average high school student. This group started in February and they have to keep moving to larger rooms as they grow. So excited to see what the Lord is doing!
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).
New coaches at Iowa-area high schools are opening the doors for new FCA Huddles to start, as well as to share the gospel with the new coaches!
"At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ" (Colossians 4:3).
Seniors at a local high school gave advice to underclassmen on how to walk with the Lord, read Scripture, and to be bold in their faith! They also encouraged them to participate in as many things as possible. to make new friends and to be caring dependable friends.
"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17).
