Disciples Discipling
A local university club-athlete who was a Huddle Leader at Weekend of Champions this past fall is still in frequent contact with some of the boys he led. He'll share prayers and devotionals with them regularly and share how God is moving, and is himself growing as their mentor. We're thankful that this young man is following God's leading to be a disciple-maker!

Equipping athletes
An FCA staff member went to a college Huddle to share about how Doing Sports God's Way motivation has impacted his coaching journey. His talk hit home with many of the athletes, leading to great discussions and questions. The next day, two of the pitchers who were at the Huddle got to pitch against another school. They talked about how that was the most relaxed they've ever felt on the mound, and how they were really able to focus on just playing for an audience of One, and how that freed them to just pitch and have fun! And they both pitched great scoreless baseball, a great testimony to what God can do, when we play/live free in Him!
"And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others also" (2 Timothy 2:2).
Salvation!
After a training session for one of our staff members, a group of them from the training went to a local park in Kansas City to play pick-up basketball. After a couple games, one of the people from training called everyone (their team and other people present) together and asked if he could share the Gospel and pray. About 15 young adults stuck around while he shared the Gospel, and then prayed over them. When he was finished, our staff member noticed one of the young athletes was hanging around by himself. Prompted by the Holy Spirit, he started a conversation with him. He had just graduated from high school the day prior. As they were talking about the Gospel, this young man stated that he wanted to place his faith in Jesus. He prayed to accept Christ into his life and to start following Jesus Christ as Lord! Praising God that another young man is now apart of God's kingdom!
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Multiplication at work!List Item 1
A men's university tennis coach, who is a believer, felt convicted by the Holy Spirit to be more open about his faith in Christ. He obeyed, and before the team's conference semi-final, he shared with them that he was excited for the match, but that he knew his identity was in Christ as his Savior, and that was more important than any possible outcomes.
That was the first time he had ever done that with a team, and is thankful that he felt led and confident in Christ to do that!

God's impact through FCAList Item 2
Four teachers and coaches showed up for the regular Huddle at a local high school but no athletes attended that day, allowing the coaches to speak freely about the positive impact FCA had on them.
One teacher commented that FCA was making a positive impact in the school and that the school needs FCA--the school needs Jesus Christ! We're praying this leads to a coaches/teachers Huddle next school year; would you pray with us?
